We discussed How our relationship to the Lord out weights everything else such as religious rules, beliefs etc. of what we have been taught in the the Christian religion and what matter's the Most. I really got the revelation that I'm not a Christian. I am a follower of Jesus Christ according to God's word. There was a lot of discussion and testimonies shared and the Spirit of the Lord was there, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freeeeeeedom ! I know the the Spirit of the Lord was there because he did work in my heart starting the very next morning and has been doing it ever since. Praise God for his Love for us ! My sister's in Christ came alongside me and convinced me that they would help me lay my burdens down at the feet of Jesus and leave them there. I am now experiencing the true freedom in Christ as He intended. Now when defeating thought's from my past pop into my mind I ask the Lord to forgive me and ask Him to help me forgive myself. I am finally leaving my past behind and I am completely free in Christ. Galations 6:1-3 1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Submission, then, will not be a law to keep, but will be a natural result of loving one another and walking in the Spirit. Plenty of worship and an encouraging word from Henry who described the cost to his family in terms of "leaving the things of the world" and the fruit he is now reaping in his children. We also had a short teaching on "the enjoyment of submission".
